§ 13.12. Meeting to review special assessment roll—Objections in writing.

Upon receipt of such special assessment roll, the Council, by resolution, shall order such assessment roll to be filed in the office of the City Clerk for public examination; and shall fix the time and place where and when the Council will meet to review such special assessment roll and to hear objections to the special assessments as assessed in said roll. At this meeting all persons or parties interested are required to present in writing their objections, if any, to the assessments against them. The Assessor shall be present at every meeting of the Council at which a special assessment is to be reviewed.
