§ 4.12. Discipline.

  • The Council may, by vote of not less than two (2) of its members, compel the attendance of its members, and other officers of the city at its regular and special meetings and enforce orderly conduct therein; and any member of the Council or other officer of the city who refuses to attend such meetings and conduct himself or herself in an orderly manner thereat shall be deemed guilty of misconduct in office. The Chief of Police shall serve as the Sergeant-at-arms of the Council in the enforcement of the provisions of this section.
