§ 106-31. Definition.

The word "taxicab" may mean and include any motor vehicle engaged in the business of carrying passengers for hire, where no regular specified route is traveled. However, automobiles used exclusively as hearses, funeral cars, sightseeing buses, or motor buses may not be construed to be taxicabs.
