§ 10-32. Not to run at large.

  • (a)

    No person who owns, possesses, or has charge of any dog known to be of an ugly disposition or dangerous to persons or property shall permit or allow the dog, whether licensed or unlicensed, to be at large at any time in the city.

    (b)

    No person shall permit or allow any dog, whether licensed or unlicensed, to run at large or stray beyond the premises of the owner.

    (c)

    A dog of any breed within the city that is not on its owner's property, shall be required to be on a leash and under the reasonable control of its owner.

    (d)

    A dog of any breed within the city that is tied up or leashed on its owner's unfenced property shall be secured in such a way that it is not able to get within two feet of any lot line of the property.
