§ 110-1. Purpose and intent; enforcement.

(a)

It is the intent of the city council that this chapter be construed for the purpose of regulating the use of the harbor and marina and their facilities in the best public interest.

(b)

It shall be the duty of the city to assist the appropriate local, state and federal agencies in the enforcement of the provisions of this chapter as they apply to the "waters of the state", and as to the provisions of this chapter applicable to the harbor and marina facilities not included in the "waters of the state", the city shall have original jurisdiction to enforce the provisions of this chapter.
