§ 22-31. City cemetery established.

The Evergreen Cemetery shall be maintained and used as the public cemetery of the city, but any of the other cemeteries named in this article, or any cemetery which may be hereafter established in the city, may become a public cemetery and be brought under the control and supervision of the city manager, and made subject to provisions of this article by resolution of the council, adopted pursuant to application of the manager of the cemetery, accompanied by the written consent of the owner thereof.
