§ 38-32. Additions, insertions and changes.

The following sections are hereby revised, amended and modified as follows:

(1)

Section 101.1 insert: City of Alpena.

(2)

Section 103.2 is hereby amended to read as follows: Appointment. The city fire marshall and the city building official are hereby designated and appointed as the code official charged with the administration and enforcement of this code; and the code official shall not be removed from office except for cause and after full opportunity to be heard on specific and relevant charges by and before the appointing authority.

(3)

Section 109.3 is hereby amended to read as follows: Violations, penalties. Persons who shall violate a provision of this code or shall not comply with any of the requirements thereof or who shall erect, install, alter, repair, or do work in violation of the approved construction documents or directive of the code official, or of a permit or certificate issued under provisions of this code, shall be responsible for a civil infraction punishable by a judgment fine of not more than $500.00. Each day that a violation continues shall be deemed a separate and continuing offense.
