§ 34-31. Purpose.
Latest version.
In order to protect the city from incurring extraordinary expenses resulting from the utilization of city resources responding to an incident involving hazardous materials, the city hereby authorizes the imposition of charges to recover reasonable and actual costs in excess of $200.00 incurred by the city (not including, however, the cost of on-duty personnel), in responding to calls for assistance in connection with a hazardous materials release or incident.
